Following advice from NHS England and due to increasing rates of covid-19, it is now apparent that we have entered the next Covid-19 wave. Over the past week, there has been a substantial increase in Covid-19 cases both in the wider community and in healthcare settings. This rise is now resulting in more patients being admitted to critical care beds and more healthcare staff being absent from the workplace.
Given these significant increases across our region, we are politely requesting that patients wear a face covering or mask when attending the surgery. Keeping our patients and staff safe remains our top priority and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
